How much do it cost to attend?
 

The event is free to the public. We encourage our attendees to pre-register, but on-site registration is available. Admission includes access to horseshoe tournament, playground area, face painting, live musical performances, yoga and fitness instruction, live art displays, educational information, pop-up marketplace and more.

 One City Fest will be on April 19 from 11:00am-4:00pm at the Kennedy Recreation Center at 1401 7th St. NW, Washington, DC 20001.

What is the Purpose of One City Celebrating a Green Lifestyle City Festival?

 

More people are attending Earth Day events than ever before! This event is designed to help people just starting to explore an eco-lifestyle feel welcome, and people who have already veterans in it will still find a lot that will inspire them. This festival will be an exciting adventure for anyone in the marketplace for highly efficient products, or wants to see how locals are going green.

How old do I need to be to attend One City Celebrating a Green Lifestyle Festival?

All ages are welcome.

What is the best way to get to One City Fest?

​

We encourage all attendees to take public transportation, bike, or walk. If you are going to drive we suggest you carpool (Uber is also a great alternative)

 

· Two blocks north of Mount Vernon Square Metro (green/yellow)
 

· Three blocks south of the Shaw/Howard Metro (green)

 

· Metrobus G2, 70, 71, and 79 lines as well as the Circulator

 

· Capital Bike Share location at Mt Vernon Square Metro and three blocks south of the location at Shaw/Howard Metro

Is there going to be Alcohol at this festival?

No..

Will there be parking?

Yes, there is limited street parking and paid parking.

What should I bring?

​

Bring a friend, or 2, or 10! lol... Dress weather appropriately, One City Fest will go on rain or shine; you can bring lawn chairs or blankets to relax on; your water bottle; If you'd like to do yoga we suggest you bring your own yoga mat; if you’d like to do fitness instructions, we suggest you wear your workout gear.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No food, drinks, or coolers will be permitted.
